Maternal RSV Vaccination Strongly Reduces Infant Hospitalization Risk

New findings from a large UKHSA study presented at ESCMID Global 2026 show that maternal vaccination against respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), given at least 14 days before birth, lowers the risk of RSV-related hospitalizations among young infants by over 80%.
