Giampaolo Bianchini

Giampaolo Bianchini is Associate Professor at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University and Head of Breast Oncology at IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital. He graduated in Medicine in 2000 from the University of Milan-Bicocca and specialized in Medical Oncology in 2004 at the University of Milan. During his training, he was a Visiting Scientist at leading US institutions, including the National Cancer Institute, MD Anderson Cancer Center, and Yale Cancer Center.

With nearly twenty-five years of clinical experience in breast cancer, Prof. Bianchini research focuses on the development of new therapeutic and immunotherapy approaches, mechanisms of resistance, and biomarker discovery to improve treatment personalization.

He has authored numerous publications in leading international journals, including Nature, The Lancet, Annals of Oncology, and Journal of Clinical Oncology, and regularly participates in major national and international conferences.
