Mika Kontro

Mika Kontro, MD, PhD, is an Associate Professor and Head of the Clinical Trials Unit in Hematology at the Helsinki University Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Center. He also leads a research group at the Institute for Molecular Medicine Finland (FIMM) focusing on AML and drug resistance. Dr. Kontro has extensive experience in the design and conduct of both academic and industry-sponsored clinical trials. He currently serves as Chair of the Finnish AML Group and as a member of the Steering Group of the Nordic AML Group.
