Shimrit Mayer is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Dr. Raza Ali’s laboratory at the CRUK Cambridge Institute, University of Cambridge. Her research focuses on the tumour microenvironment, using spatial proteomics and advanced imaging technologies to study how interactions between cancer, immune, and stromal cells influence tumour progression and metastasis. Her current work investigates the spatial organisation of ovarian and breast cancers, with the aim of identifying mechanisms of immune escape, therapeutic resistance, and new opportunities for patient stratification.
