EAN 2026: Post-Diagnostic Epilepsy and Failure of Seizure Control Are Linked to Worse Survival in Glioblastoma

At EAN 2026, Maria Dencker, neurology resident and PhD student at Rigshospitalet, Copenhagen, presents a prospective study showing that both post-diagnostic epilepsy and failure of seizure control are associated with worse survival in glioblastoma. The findings also identify clinical and molecular factors that may help predict which patients are at highest risk.
