Christer Janson

Professor of Respiratory Medicine and Allergology at the Department of Medical Sciences, Respiratory, Allergy and Sleep Research at Uppsala University, Sweden, and consultant at the Uppsala University Hospital’s Pulmonary Allergy Clinic.

Main scientific activities:

Research in asthma, allergy and COPD and has published more than 500 original papers on these topics.

President of the Swedish Association for Allergology, member of the EAACI research and outreach committee.

Past chair of the Epidemiology and Environment Assembly of the ERS and scientific advisor for the Swedish National Board of Health and Wellfare.
