Elisabeth Grov Beisland

Elisabeth Grov Beisland, PhD, is a Registered Nurse and Associate Professor at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences in Bergen, Norway. She teaches and supervises in the field of clinical nursing, at master- and PhD-levels.

Her research is on the patient perspective in acute, critical and chronic illness, using both qualitative and quantitative methods. She is also a member of the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) expert panel, working on a 4-phase study to develop a diagnosis-specific quality of life questionnaire in renal cell carcinoma patients.
