Evandro Fei Fang

Evandro Fei Fang is an Associate Professor at the Department of Clinical Molecular Biology at the University of Oslo and Akershus University Hospital in Norway.

Dr Fang is a highly productive, young investigator with more than 100 publications including papers in Cell (2014), Cell Metabolism (2016, 2019), Nature Reviews Molecular Cell Biology (2016), Nature Neuroscience (2019), Nature Aging (2021), Nature Biomedical Engineering (2022), The Lancet Healthy Longevity (2024), and Autophagy (2024).

He has received several awards including a FRIMEDBIO Young Research Talent 2017 (Norway), the Royal Norweigian Society of Sciences and Letters’ scientific award in the natural sciences for 2020, and the Nasjonalforeiningen for folkehelsens demensforskningspris for 2023 of Norway presented by His Majesty King Harald V of Norway for his efforts in public health’s dementia research.
