Martin Højgaard

Martin Højgaard, MD, PhD, is a Clinical Oncologist working at The Phase1 Unit, Dept. of Oncology, Rigshospitalet. He has been the principal investigator of numerous first-in-human oncology trials with a special interest in synthetic lethality drugs.

Martin Højgaard works closely with colleagues at Rigshospitalet to advance genomics driven precision medicine treatment in oncology. He is also involved in the Danish National Molecular Tumor Board promoting a multidisciplinary approach for delivering treatment options for the more than 2000 cancer patients in Denmark undergoing extensive genomic profiling studies annually.
