Simen Hyll Hansen

Simen Hyll Hansen have previous experience as a biologist and a bioinformatician, with a focus on using sequencing technologies and applying principles of community ecology in the programming languages R and Python to uncover hidden patterns in data.

Currently Simen Hyll Hansen is working on a ph.d. focusing on the prognostic and clinical potential of the gut microbiome in inflammatory bowel disease, using traditional statistical approaches in addition to experimental methods within modeling and machine learning.
