ELCC 2026: Blood-Based ML for Lung Cancer Prediction

Cecilie Mondrup Jacobsen, Engineer, PhD Student, Lillebælt Hospital Vejle, Denmark, has developed machine learning models based on blood samples, focusing on tumour-specific biomarkers as well as general haematological parameters, including leukocyte counts, and other non-specific biomarkers. In this MEDtalk from ELCC 2026, she presents the results of this work, as well as the methodological approaches used to identify relevant patient groups through the application of machine learning models.
