Capillary Dysfunction – An Overlooked Cause of Alzheimer’s Disease?

This study has investigated disturbances of cerebral microcirculation in connection to cortical Aβ load in patients with prodromal Alzheimer’s disease. The results suggest that capillary dysfunction may be an important and overlooked component of early Alzheimer’s disease.
