Karen Louise Thomsen

Karen Louise Thomsen is a consultant Hepatologist at the Department of Hepatology and Gastroenterology, Aarhus University Hospital, and an associate professor at Aarhus University. She is conducting basic and translational clinical research focusing on metabolic liver function and the pathophysiological impact of inflammation on organ injury in chronic liver disease, including in MASLD.
