Simone Valentin Hansen

Simone Valentin Hansen is a research assistant at Haematology-Pathology Research Laboratory (HPRL), Research Unit for Haematology and Research Unit for Pathology, University of Southern Denmark and Odense University Hospital, Odense, Denmark. She has a M.Sc. in Biomedicine and did my Ph.D. at HPRL, which she will defend in January 2022. The research presented here was part of her Ph.D. and was published in Scientific Reports.

Her research focus is the impact of molecular heterogeneity in B cell malignancies, specifically mantle cell lymphoma, using techniques such as comprehensive sequencing and functional cell culture studies to investigate which genes and signaling pathways that are active in the cancer cells.
