EADV 2025: Expanding the Therapeutic Role of Botulinum Toxin in Dermatology

Botulinum toxin has long been known for its aesthetic applications and treatment of spasticity, but its therapeutic potential in dermatology is expanding. Beyond hyperhidrosis, emerging uses include rosacea, alopecia areata, androgenetic alopecia, and hidradenitis suppurativa, though current evidence is primarily based on smaller studies and case reports.
