Prevalence of Hidradenitis Suppurativa in Nuuk, Greenland

Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is a chronic inflammatory skin disease associated with more comorbidities. With her clinical experience from both Denmark and Greenland, MD and PhD-student Sofia H.C. Botvid has performed the first study ever to investigate the prevalence of HS in Nuuk, Greenland. Results suggest a higher prevalence than expected.
