Dermatological Challenges in War Conflict Zones with Special Focus on Ukraine
An increasing incidence of skin diseases is observed in war zones, both among the civilian population and military personnel, as seen in studies from the Vietnam War (1955–1975), the Gulf War (1990–1991), the Balkan conflict (1991–2001), recent years of warfare in Syria, and currently in Ukraine. This presents major clinical challenges and highlights a growing need for new strategies for both prevention and treatment.
