From world-class science to clinical practice

At BestPractice Nordic, the primary focus is on clinical interest, which is also why all our content is created in collaboration with or by independent specialists, who are all key opinion leaders or rising stars within their specialty. This ensures focus on the clinical rather than the news-driven as well as relevance for the peers who use our platform.

BestPractice Nordic is off to a great start. As always, we make sure to share the latest specialist knowledge within: General Practice, Dermatology, Oncology and Hematology. In addition, BestPractice Nordic was hosting a relevant debate on Nye metoder in Norway. There has been some public critique of the their system Nye metoder regarding use of time, lack of transparency – and lack of clinical involvement in the decision-making process. Indications that they need a new set of strategies. People with rare diagnoses have no time to lose. This is why an PROBA made an evaluation, that was recently published. We invited specialist, patient associations and people from the pharmaceutical industry to discuss this difficult topic at a hybrid meeting at Radiumhospitalet in Oslo.

You can see the program from the event here and watch Daniel Heinrich Overlege, leder i Norsk onkologisk forening speak about how the prioritization of new cancer treatments should be professionally justified.

Later on BestPractice Nordic has the pleasure of inviting you to a Nordic webinar on 5 May, at 16–17. Based on NCDV 2022, selected studies and clinical issues will be presented and put into perspective under the guidance of Gregor Jemec professor og overlege på Dermatologisk afdeling ved Sjællands Universitetshospital, Roskilde.
